Active user discount

When you actively use C card on a daily basis, you can accumulate a discount for the card's monthly fee. Therefore, it is advantageous to use card C not only for different purchases but also for online payments – always choose to pay with card instead of other payment options (payments with Apple Pay and Google Pay count as card payments).

What kind of transactions are taken into account?

For calculating the Active User Discount, we only consider purchases made with the card: either through a POS terminal in stores or online. The purchase must be successfully debited from your account. Transactions with the status "Reserved" are not taken into account.

The following are not included:

  • Purchases made in gambling establishments, including online casinos.
  • Transactions related to the purchase of virtual money, currency, quasi-cash, or other financial operations (e.g., account top-ups or purchasing monetary equivalents).
  • Payments made from your bank account, even if a card is linked to the account. This includes payments in online stores or payments for services that are done via internet bank, mobile apps, bank transfers, Banklink transactions, Paypal transactions and similar operations.
  • Cash deposit or withdrawal transactions with the card.

In summary, only actual purchases of goods and services made with the card are taken into account.

What happens to my Active User discount if I change the card to another type/color?

If you want to change the color of your card, but the card type remains the same, for example: C supreme gold changes to C supreme navy, then the Active User discount remains in effect.

But if you want to change the card type, for example, change C supreme to C prime or vice versa, then the Active User discount will be cancelled, and you will have to accumulate the purchase turnover again.

Example: if your card was made in August 2022, the period of 6 full months ends on February 28th, 2023. If, during this time, the amount spent with the C prime card is 6161,12 EUR, the C prime card will have 50 % discount to monthly fee from March 2023.

* A half year of card usage is counted as each 6 month period from the 1st of the month after the card is issued. The bank reserves the right to change the terms and purchase amount criteria every six months. You can receive information on your card usage within a period of a year by calling at +371 6701 0000. The offer can not be applied for clients with temporary residence permit, foreigner work visa or foreigner students.
