How does it work?

If you want to purchase a product or service in an online store, select the Klix Pay Later payment method. If you are in an in-person store, inform the cashier that you would like to pay using Klix Pay Later and receive a link to the loan application via SMS or email.

How and when do I make my monthly loan payments for products purchased with Klix Pay Later?

Information on how to repay your loan is included in the agreement which was sent to your email address when you signed the agreement.

The agreement includes the following information:

  • monthly payment amount and term;
  • the account number to which payments should be made;
  • the date of the first payment;
  • the date of the final payment;
  • the loan repayment account.

The payments you have made, the repayment account number, and your repayment schedule can also be viewed on our website under My Applications, by logging in with Smart-ID or e-Paraksts.

How can I partially repay a loan set up through the Klix platform before term?

To partially repay your loan before it is due, go to our website under My Applications, open your specific loan agreement, and fill in an order on the early repayment of your loan. As the early repayment method, choose “Partial loan repayment” and enter the required sum.

After processing your order, we will send you an email informing you of our decision.

To log in to My Applications, you need Smart-ID or eParaksts.

What happens if I miss a monthly payment for my loan?

For every day you miss, we calculate a penalty fee.

If you wish to change the monthly payment date stipulated in your agreement, submit a letter requesting your agreement to be amended, including your preferred new monthly payment date.

The easiest way to do this is on our website under My Applications, logging in with Smart-ID or eParaksts.

In the Klix agreement section, choose a Free-form Order and enter your preferred monthly payment date — any date between the 1st and the 28th.

Before you submit an order, ensure that you have 25 EUR in your loan repayment account to cover the agreement amendment fee.

What is the maximum loan amount?

When you choose the Klix Pay Later payment method, the maximum purchase amount is 15 000 EUR. If, after we evaluate your borrowing ability, the amount you require is not available, you can cover part of the purchase with your own money as a deposit.

What should I do if there is money left over in my loan repayment account?

Sometimes, a balance may remain in your loan repayment account.  If more money has been transferred to your loan repayment account than is needed to repay your loan, you need to fill in an application for the return of money transferred to cover a loan.

The easiest way to do this is through our website under My Applications, logging in using Smart-ID or eParaksts.

In the Klix agreements section, select Free-form Order and enter your bank and the account number to which we should transfer the funds.

Order text example: Please transfer my balance to my bank account. Bank account no.:_____, bank name: _____.

After reviewing your order, we will send you an email informing you of our decision.

Will I receive information about my monthly loan repayments by email?

No, we don’t send monthly payment reminders by email. You can see loan payment information on our website under My Applications by logging in with Smart-ID or e-Paraksts.

Why is the agreement term longer than the interest-free period?

If you choose one of our Klix Free products, such as Free 6, you have the option of repaying the entire loan in 6 months without paying interest. If you repay the loan in full within the interest-free period, it is automatically closed.

The loan term is longer, giving you the opportunity to successfully cover your loan if you are unable to do so within the interest-free period.

The last page of the loan agreement includes an example on how much to make in monthly payments in order to cover the loan within the interest-free period.

What should I do if I want to return a product I purchased with Klix Pay Later?

If, for any reason, you wish to return a product you purchased, you must inform the retailer. If the retailer agrees to annul the agreement, the relevant employee will inform the bank of the changes and return the money. You must contact the retailer to receive your deposit. After the money is returned, the loan will be automatically cancelled within one business day (or, if the order is only partially cancelled, your loan will be partially repaid).  

How does the full/partial refund process work if I return the goods to the retailer?

If the product does not match its description, is damaged, or there is another situation for which you need to cancel the purchase and return the product, contact the retailer. The retailer will inform the bank of the full or partial refund, and the loan will be cancelled (or repaid in part) once the retailer has transferred the money to the loan repayment account. This process could take up to 14 days.

What do I do if I entered incorrect phone number or email address while applying for a loan through the Klix platform?

To update your contact information, visit the My Applications section on our website, open the relevant loan agreement, and fill in a Free-form order stating your updated contact information.

To log in to My Applications, you need Smart-ID or eParaksts.

Can I reinstate my loan if I accidentally transfer more money than I planned to my repayment account and my loan is repaid in full?

No, this is not possible.

How do I repay a loan made through the Klix platform early?

To repay your loan early in full, go to our website under My Applications, open the relevant loan agreement, and fill in an order on the early repayment of your loan. As the early repayment method, select “Full loan repayment”.
