What is a payment to a phone number?

A payment to a phone number is a type of transaction which, with the help of the mobile app, allows you to make a transfer even if you don’t know the recipient’s account number. When making a payment, add the recipient’s phone number instead of their account number. If the recipient has linked their phone number with their account in the Instant Links registry, they will be able to make a payment. You don’t have to try and remember or write down the recipient’s long IBAN number. You just need to select the recipient from your phone’s contacts or enter their number manually.
