For customers of AS “Latvijas Krājbanka”

Payment of state-guaranteed compensation was provided until June 13, 2019.

According to Part 4 of Article 3 of the Deposit Guarantee Law, depositors of insolvent banks who were entitled to guaranteed compensation but did not receive it by the specified deadline have lost their right to receive this compensation.

In exceptional cases¹, clients of insolvent banks who have been granted an extension by the Bank of Latvia are invited to contact the bank.

¹ Depositors who were subject to restrictions from the State Revenue Service or bailiffs (such as the suspension of any transactions or the temporary freezing of funds in their accounts) before the deadline for receiving guaranteed compensation will be able to receive the guaranteed compensation within the next five years.
