What has changed?

Do you want to install MobileSCAN for the first time (because you haven't had MobileSCAN before)?

How do you reactivate MobileSCAN in the app if I have previously already used MobileSCAN?

If you previously used a device with full MobileSCAN limits, then, when you purchase a new device, you must activate activate MobileSCAN on it using the online bank by using your previous device with full MobileSCAN limits. In this case, your new device will automatically maintain your full MobileSCAN limits.

If your app was transferred from your old device or reinstated from backup, you will have to delete it and reinstall from AppStore/Google Play.

1. Open the Citadele app and select Log in.

2. Enter your Online banking username and password, and press Continue.

If you can't remember your username, take a look here.
If you do not remember your Online banking password and you have another authorization device (code card or code calculator), take a look here.

3. After logging in, you will be taken to the MobileSCAN activation screen.

4. Check that the phone number is correct and select “Receive SMS”. If the number is incorrect, please contact the bank to change your contact details.

 

 

 

 

5. You will receive an SMS with a number code. If it does not arrive, press Resend SMS (the button will become active 30 seconds after the first SMS attempt).

6. Enter the code you receive by SMS into the app.

7. Create a five-digit PIN code which you will use to access the online bank or app, and enter it into the app.

8. Re-enter your PIN, and your MobileSCAN has been activated.

9. If your mobile device is fitted with TouchID or FaceID, and you wish to activate this within the Citadele app, click Activate Now and follow the instructions.

10. Your MobileSCAN has been activated!

 

 

 

 

 

By activating MobileSCAN in the mobile application, transaction limits are 3000 EUR for single payment and 3000 EUR per day.You may also find the following information useful - How can I increase my MobileSCAN limits without visiting a branch in person?

MobileSCAN limits can be increased only in branch offices, except if the device is unsafe.

How do I renew my online bank password?

If you have forgotten your password, you can renew it remotely like this (currently only using a code card, calculator or Digipass):

1. Go to online.citadele.lv and click on "Forgot password?".

2. Enter your username and mobile phone number. Bear in mind that your phone number must match the one registered with the bank (entered into your client information). Please also bear in mind that, if your phone number has changed, and you have notified the bank remotely within the past 7 days, you will not be able to renew your password remotely

3. An SMS will be sent to your registered and entered phone number with a one-time passcode

4. Once you receive the message, enter this code into the relevant field on screen

5. Enter the requested code from the code card, calculator or Digipass.

6. Enter the SMS code again, and choose a new password.

 

 

 

 

Important! You can only change your password remotely using the online bank, it cannot be done in the app.

If you do not receive an SMS, use one of the following methods of unblocking your password, as well as to check your contact details registered with the Bank:

  1. contact us by calling +371 6701 0000.
  2. visit your nearest branch or representative abroad, bringing a form of identification (passport or ID card).

If you have not or cannot use a code card or GO3 / calculator - visit our branch with an identity document (passport or ID card), where you will be issued a new code card. However, if you have blocked your GO3 / calculator by entering an incorrect code, contact us by calling +371 6701 0000.
