If you are Citadele customer with a valid citizen’s ID card or passport issued in Latvia, you can submit an application to open an account for your child remotely through the online bank.
We will review the application within 2 working days. C card and its PIN code will be sent by post to the address specified in the application within a week.
To open an account for a child or a ward, go to the Accounts and cards” section of the online bank and choose the order form “Order a card for a child.”
Bear in mind! With this application, your child (or ward) will become a customer of AS “Citadele Banka,” and will receive the following bank products:
- C smart card linked to a current account.
- Online bank access and a MobileSCAN authorisation tool.
- The option to participate in our loyalty programme C REWARDS, accumulate points and receive prizes.
Other services cannot be included in this application process!
In the application form, you will receive information on the services your child or ward will receive once they become a customer.
In the application form, please provide accurate information about the child or ward – without it we will be unable to open account for the child.
Please prepare and attach the following child personal ID documents. For the images, we kindly ask you not to cover the picture or any other information.
Please attach the following ID documents:
- If the child has reached the age of 15 – please upload a picture of the child's ID card or passport.
- If the child is between the ages of 7 and 14 – please upload a picture of the child's ID card, passport or child's birth certificate (by choice).
- Please note, in case ID card is attached, image of both ID card sides is necessary. If a picture of passport is attached, please ensure that full passport opening with both pages is visible.
- If you are a guardian, please upload a decision of the Orphan's Court granting custody. The decision must be signed or approved with an e-stamp.
Logging in to your child's Online bank:
- We will send your child's login for the Online bank. Check your incoming messages in your’s Online bank, under section "Correspondence with the bank → Correspondence with the bank and notifications".
- We will send your child's password for the Online bank via SMS to the phone number specified in the application.
We will inform you about the progress of your application by SMS to your phone number.
