Insurance for your mortgaged property

GREAT VALUE! Set up a mortgage and receive free insurance for your mortgaged property for 1 year.

  • We cover all risks in accordance with the amount determined in your insurance agreement: 1300 EUR per square metre.
  • Even at home, all moveable property is insured up to 5000 EUR. And if you happen to accidentally damage your neighbour with your property, the insurance will help cover losses up to 1000 EUR.
  • If an accident happens to a secondary building, our insurance can help with 10% of the overall loss, and no more than 10 000 EUR.
  • If a pipe suddenly bursts or you lose your keys, and you need immediate professional help, our insurance will cover the services of a specialist up to 350 EUR.
  • Your belongings are also safe outside the home up to a value of 750 EUR. This means that if something happens to your belongings when they aren’t at home, our insurance will cover the losses.

Property insurance

We have several insurance options to help you find the best-value insurance for your properties. The insurance agreement includes free coverage of several incidents.

  • If there is an accident during home improvements or renovations and losses reach up to 10 000 EUR, the insurance will cover the expenses. If there are losses to your home caused by animals, you can also count on the support of our insurance.
  • Your personal belongings (moveable property) are safe not just at home, but anywhere in Europe, up to a value of 1000 EUR.
  • If your neighbours are renovating and damage your home, our insurance will also cover those damages.
  • And if the insurance compensation is more than half of the value of your property, there is no deductible to pay — the insurance will cover the costs in full.

If an incident occurs

  • Submit a claim on Mans BTA portal, insurance employees will register your claim and inform you of the next steps.
  • BTA will quickly investigate your situation and come to a decision.
  • If the compensation amount is up to 3000 EUR, you will receive the money by the next business day.
  • Don’t forget to also inform the relevant institutions, such as the police or building manager, so that they can officially record the incident.

Where can I find information on my insurance policy?

  • In your emails: when you signed your insurance agreement, information about the policy and its terms and conditions was sent to your email address;
  • If your home insurance policy was processed with Citadele in collaboration with BTA, you will find information about your policy in the BTA Customer Portal. Log in to the BTA website under My account > My policies.
    Under Policy Information you will see the most important information: policy number, period, the insured property, payment information, and the terms and conditions of the policy and insurance.

What should I do if an insurable incident has occurred?

  • Submit a claim on Mans BTA portal, press the "Claim online" insurance employees will register your claim and inform you of the next steps;
  • The insurer will process your claim as quickly as possible and notify you of their decision; 
  • In accordance with the insurer’s decision, you will receive compensation within one business day if your compensation comes to 1500 EUR or less;
  • Remember that you must inform the relevant authorities of the incident so that they can investigate, for example, the State Police, Traffic Police, your building manager etc.

  • A help package with a limit of 350 EUR which provides emergency help at your home 24 hours a day if you need a plumber, security or locksmith;
  • Moveable property insurance outside of your residential property up to 750 EUR;
  • Insurance coverage can be individually adapted to a customer’s needs.
